Create a Page

Canvas courses are made of modules. Modules are made of pages. Here’s how to create a new page to add to your course.

1. Click the Pages button from the navigation menu on the left. This will take you to the Home page of the course.
2. Click the View All Pages button at the top of the page. This will take you to a view showing all pages in your course in alphabetical order.

3. Click the + Page button to create a new page.

4. Enter the information you want on the new page or copy text from elsewhere.
5. Remember to give your page a name.

6. Save or Save and Publish.

You can also create a page from within Modules

7. Click on Modules in the navigation menu.
8. Find the module to which you want to add a page.
9. Click the + symbol at the right of the Module name.

10. Choose Page from Add and select [Create Page] from the drop down menu.
