Follow these simple steps to access your Lucid account directly from your Canvas course page.
Lucid is an online diagramming and brainstorming tool that allows you to easily create flowcharts, graphic organisers, and other visuals. It is directly integrated into Canvas, allowing you to embed all your diagrams created from Lucid into Canvas course pages, assignments, and discussions!
Try it! | Step-by-step Guide
- Click Lucid (Whiteboard) from the left-hand side navigation menu on your Canvas page. Please note: The content may take a moment to load, so please be patient.
- One the Lucid welcome page, click Log in at the bottom right. If prompted, allow cookie access.
- Enter your MIT email address into the log-in field.
- Click on the Microsoft button to proceed with your institutional login.
- After successfully logging in, click Connect to Lucid on the bottom right of the new page.
- You now have full access to Lucid! Click Continue at the bottom right of the page.
- To start creating your diagrams, click Open Lucid.
- You’re all set!
Hints and Tips
- Patience is key: When first clicking the Lucid link in Canvas, it can take a short while for the content to display.
- Allow cookies: If a system prompt appears asking for cookie access, ensure you allow it for smooth integration.
