Customise stickers to make your Canvas course more personal and fun. This short video shows how to take a digital sticker from our Fleximode resources, add your own text, and use it across your course.
You can personalise a sticker using tools like PowerPoint, Word, or Canva. Just open the image, type your message, and export it as a PNG or take a screenshot and paste into Canvas. Your sticker is now ready to use. Add short messages like “Great effort!” or “You nailed it!”
Once your design is saved, you can use the sticker in different places. Add it inside Canvas comments, replies in discussions, or even onto a course page. This adds a warm and visual touch to your communication.
Customised stickers help boost motivation. A quick image with a friendly message can support learners and build connection. It’s especially useful for students who respond well to visual feedback.
This 60ish-Second video walks you through the steps—from download to upload. You don’t need any design skills. Once you’ve done it once, you’ll find it quick to repeat.
For best results, create a small folder of ready-to-use stickers. Then you can easily reuse them during the semester.
Tip: At the moment, you can’t upload custom stickers to the official Canvas sticker panel. However, you can still insert them as images in comments and pages.
