IgniteAI Discussion Summary uses generative AI to create a clear overview of the main points, key questions, and central ideas in a discussion thread. The summary is only available to lecturers, helping you quickly understand the direction and depth of student conversations.
- In Course Navigation, click Discussions.
- Select the discussion you want to review.
- Click the Open Summary button in the discussion.
- Choose specific topics or areas you want the summary to focus on or leave it blank for a general summary.
- Generate the summary to view the main points, questions, and key ideas from the discussion.
- Click Summarise
- Now you have a summary of your discussion
Using Discussion Summary can save time and help lecturers identify key themes quickly. It supports informed follow-up, clearer feedback, and stronger class discussion.
