Modify Permissions for Recorded Teams Videos

Changing Permissions via Chat

1. Open Teams
2. Navigate to the Chat tab on the left menu of your Teams application.
3. Click on the video to open.

4. The video will open in an internet browser tab in Microsoft Stream.
5. Note: the video is not saved in Stream, it is saved in Documents inside the Recordings folder, the Stream application is used to view and play videos.

6. Click on Share
7. Click on Manage Access

8. This link allows for people to have access to view and download the video
9. This link is for limited access to people added and wont let them download the video

10. Click the three dots

11. Enter the names and/or group names here to search for them
12. Click on the name from the drop down menu to add them to the access list

13. Scroll down and click apply

Changing Permissions via One Drive

14. Open OneDrive
15. Navigate to My Files on the left menu
16. Open the Recordings Folder

17. Click on the i icon on the top right
18. Click Manage Access

19. This link allows for people to have access to view and download the video
20. This link is for limited access to people added and wont let them download the video

21. Click the three dots

22. Enter the names and/or group names here to search for them
23. Click on the name from the drop down menu to add them to the access list

24. Scroll down and click apply
