‘Canvas Help’ is here to help you help yourself (before you ask a colleague or the Academic Partners)
Let’s look at your canvas help menu.
- Click Help on the left side menu.
What’s in the Canvas Help
There are four help options for when and if you need help with canvas.
- Knowledge Base: click here to access articles on helpful tips on teaching and learning. For example, you will find pages explaining what things are and what they are for, how to videos, step-by-step guides, and many more useful articles.
- Chat with Canvas Support (Faculty): for those with quick fingers and prefer to chat, click here to start chatting to someone from Canvas’s 24/7 support team who can provide quick help.
- Call Canvas Support (Faculty): for those who prefer to talk to an actual person from Canvas’s support team, this option is for you.
- Academic Partner Team: if all else fails, send an email to the Academic Partners team. An Academic Partner will get back to you to help or point you in the right direction.

- Your students can also access Canvas Help when they are stuck or they can contact the ITCS
- Your Academic Lead Curriculum can be a great source of help if you are stuck with anything to do with Learning and Teaching or Canvas.
