The MIT Canvas Standards (MCS) is an MIT branded Canvas template that has everything you need to get started building a new course or as a base for importing an existing course. Think of it as a Canvas starter kit.
The MCS template aim is to create a consistent digital learning environment for all students across every programme. Learners will know where to find things from one Canvas course to another, things will feel familiar. When a student knows their environment and where they can find things, they feel comfortable.
To make it easy for you, it’s been designed to be a plug‘n’play tool. Simply fill in the blanks, add your course content and remove any features or content you don’t need.
